CELEBRATING THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF ‘’TOO HOT’’

Met hun waarschijnlijk sterkste line-up in 20 jaar, vliegt OSTROGOTH er vol enthousiasme terug in en zullen zij hun 40-jarig jubileum in 2025 voortzetten op de echte Europese metal manier!

Dit jaar staat het album ‘’Too Hot’’ uit 1985 in heel Europa in de spotlight met een langverwachte tour.

Daarnaast zal er een ‘’Best Of’’ selectie van alle klassieke nummers in de shows opgenomen worden.

OSTROGOTH werd in 1980 opgericht en wordt algemeen gerekend tot de New Wave Of British Heavy Metal.

Ze brachten een reeks internationaal succesvolle albums uit in de jaren ’80, waarvan ‘’Full Moon’s Eyes’’ uit 1983 het meest iconisch is.

De groep heeft een aanzienlijke invloed gehad op grote acts zoals Metallica, Arch Enemy, Blind Guardian en Kreator.

James Hetfield is sinds dag één een nummer 1 fan, draagt op maat gemaakte T-shirts van de band en noemt hen vaak in zijn interviews, hetzelfde geldt voor Mille Petrozza van Kreator.

Gedurende de afgelopen 40 jaar hebben ze met onder anderen Def Leppard, Manowar, ACCEPT, DORO, Vandenberg, Loudness, Uriah Heep, Anvil, Gary Moore en Candlemass het podium gedeeld.

Ze zijn uitgebreid besproken in grote tijdschriften zoals Aardschok, Rock Tribune, RockHard Magazine en andere.

Ze toerden wereldwijd naar bestemmingen zoals Italië, Portugal, Griekenland, de VS, Zweden, Duitsland, Tsjechië, Frankrijk, Nederland en Spanje.
